Apartment search Service – Apartment Offers
Tasks
The apartment search service of the International Office is responsible for helping international visiting scholars, professors, lecturers, doctoral candidates, and students to find suitable lodging in Freiburg. To this end, the International Office has developed an electronic database with rental offers from the private apartment market. As the wishes and needs of international guests vary greatly, the International Office makes every effort to include as many different types of offers on this database as possible and is thus always happy to receive offers from you.
Important information
- The International Office only accepts offers for furnished apartments.
- After we have received your offer, it will be placed on our database and published at http://www.io.uni-freiburg.de/apartment/wohnungsdb-en/ without your name and address. Interested persons write an e-mail to the International Office and are given your personal information so that they can contact you directly.
- The International Office only establishes contact. However, we will of course try to help in the case of language barriers.
- Leases are drawn up directly with the person searching for an apartment. The International Office cannot assume liability.
- The International Office cannot guarantee a successful search.
- If you have found a lessee, please let the International Office know as soon as possible so we can delete your offer from the database.
How can I place an offer?
If you wish to place an offer for an apartment or room on our database, you can contact us at any time by filling out our apartment offer form (Word, PDF) and submitting it to the International Office:
